Website Design
Before venturing into photography, Dakota & Co. was solely dedicated to website design and branding. While I have expanded my offerings, I pride myself on managing my time between photography and design to give each of my clients the full attention they deserve. This means that I only take on a limited number of web design and branding clients per year.
I have partnered with small businesses and entrepreneurs ranging from realtors, bakeries, photographers. lawyers, and both product and service-based companies. Squarespace is my preferred platform of choice for its ease of use and beautiful design features. The best part is that it requires little to no ongoing maintenance for clients once the site is built. Additionally, I recently graduated from a user experience course to further my education and keep up with trends in design thinking.

This package is for you if you are just starting your business or want to go through a re-branding process.
Package includes everything from both Website Design and Branding Packages (shown below), plus:
VIP experience - priority response time on all details of your project
Check in calls to track project goals as often as you need
Unlimited revisions on all designs
Expedited design process - everything to be completed within 3 weeks from start date

Website Design Package
This package is for you if you already have your brand identified and need a website that embodies your business.
The Website Design Package Includes:
- Guided content questionnaire
- Squarespace theme consultation
- Setup of Squarespace website (including domain name and hosting)
- Design & layout of up to 30 pages
- Design of all custom website graphics
- Integrate all social media accounts
- Optimize site for mobile & tablet
- Walkthrough + tutorial for managing your new site

Branding Package
This package is for you if you don't have a logo or consistent aesthetic or you want to revamp your current brand style.
The Branding Package Includes:
- Brand Design Questionnaire
- Shared Pinterest board to discover and refine aesthetic
- Creation of branding mood board
- Creation of your personal color palette
- Custom primary logo, alternative logo and submark
- Complimentary font combinations
- Full Branding Style Board
- Accompanying detailed Style Sheet
- Final design files
- 2 Stationary Collateral designs (ex. business cards, letterhead, notecards etc.)
- 3 social media or blog post graphics

The Process
Phase 1
Consultation
After receiving the initial inquiry, I will touch base with you to schedule a complimentary consultation to learn more about your business and goals. This will allow us to get to know each other and decide if we are a good fit to work together.
Phase 2
laying the foundation
Once we have discussed your vision and goals and decided to continue working together, I'll send you some client homework to dive deeper into your unique business. This will allow us to get on the same page in terms of design aesthetic and lay the foundation for the next phase.
Phase 3
design
The fun part begins! Using the information received during the first two phases, we will begin collaborating on developing a unique design that represents your business. Depending on the package, this will include graphic design and branding elements and/or website and interface design.
Phase 4
launch
Time to launch (or relaunch) your website and brand into the world! At this time we are finished with the project and I will hand over all design files and information on managing your new website on Squarespace. If it is in your needs, we can also continue working together at an hourly rate.
