If you live in Austin, and haven't tried one of Elisia's (owner of Teddy V Patisserie) Levain-inspired cookies, run, don't walk, to her stand at the Mueller's Farmer's Market on Sunday or order them online! Elisia reached out to me because she wanted to provide online ordering for her customers just in time for the holiday season. And let me tell you, these cookies will make the perfect host or hostess gift.
Elisia's website was already living on Wordpress, so we set out to navigate the ever-changing world of plugins to find the right fit for her needs and existing site. After extensive research and discussing all the options available to us, we decided to use Woocommerce (along with several other supporting plugins specific to Elisia's needs) to integrate ecommerce into her blog seamlessly.
Along with adding ecommerce, I also made subtle changes to Elisia's site layout - reorganizing the sidebar, cleaning up the (already beautiful) home page, and adding in a footer where her customers could access for more information. All of these changes are intended to improve the user experience of Elisia's blog so customers can navigate the site easily without frustration.
It was such a joy to work with Elisia and Teddy V Patisserie! To visit the new shop and order yourself some delicious cookies, click here!
